Jamshoro: The district administration of Jamshoro has declared a public holiday across the district on Thursday, February 29, in observance of the annual Urs of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar.
Deputy Commissioner stated that the inaugural day of the 772nd Urs of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar will be observed as a holiday throughout the district.
Hyderabad Metropolitan Police has enforced Section 144 during the annual Urs of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan.
Following the recommendation of Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro, the Commissioner of Hyderabad has implemented Section 144. The Commissioner’s statement highlights the prohibition of bathing in Sehwan’s canals and restricts the entry of heavy vehicles during Urs.
The annual Urs of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan is slated to commence on Thursday, February 29, and will extend until March 2.
