ISLAMABAD: Ten Afghan citizens who were residing illegally in Islamabad were apprehended in a successful operation, according to Sub-Inspector Raza Muhammad of Bhara Kahu police station.
The operation was initiated based on information received from a reliable informant who reported that nine Afghan nationals were unlawfully staying at Saddam Hotel on Kayani Road.
The informant stated that these individuals were being controlled by a person named Kayani. Upon investigation, the suspects were identified as Inzamam-ul-Haq (son of Shams-ul-Haq), Ruhollah (son of Ghulam Nabi), Sher Ali, Lad-Ghulam Rasool, Gul Bar (son of Bahul Matin), Muslim (son of Ul Gul), Sulaiman (son of Mishra), Fawad (son of Muhammad Yaqub), and Amanullah (son of Syed Kalam).
All of them were residents of Afghanistan and failed to provide any documentation regarding their stay in Pakistan.
Additionally, a person claiming to be Zaroli (son of Hazrat Ali) and hailing from Nangarhar Jalalabad, Afghanistan, was also unable to present any legal documents regarding his residency in Pakistan. Consequently, cases have been registered against all the accused under the 14 Foreign Act. The authorities are taking necessary steps to resolve the situation promptly, aiming for a successful outcome.
