ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Science and Technology in Islamabad has commenced the interviewing process to select the Head of Pakistan Standard and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA).
Candidates have been instructed to present themselves before the selection committee on May 17 (Wednesday) at the committee room of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
During the interviews, candidates are required to bring their original documents and obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective institutions.
The position of PSQCA Head has remained vacant for one and a half years, as the recruitment process was not completed during the previous government.
Currently, the temporary charge of this position is held by Zainul Abedin, an officer from the Ministry of Science and Technology.
The appointment process aims to address the long-standing vacancy and improve the functioning of PSQCA.
