Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has invited the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, Egypt, and Jordan for a meeting in Riyadh on Friday, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
According to an official source, the meeting will be an informal and friendly gathering, reflecting the strong brotherly ties between the leaders. These private meetings have been regularly held for many years to enhance cooperation and coordination among the GCC states, Egypt, and Jordan.
The discussions are expected to touch on regional issues, but any formal decisions on joint Arab action will be addressed at the upcoming Extraordinary Arab Summit in Egypt on March 4. This summit was called to discuss the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and related developments.

It is important to note that Arab nations are prioritizing efforts to rebuild Gaza following the war. Saudi Arabia has reiterated its unwavering support for the Palestinian people. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump proposed relocating Palestinians from Gaza to Egypt and Jordan, an idea that both nations firmly opposed.
Saudi Arabia and its regional allies remain committed to fostering unity and cooperation to promote lasting stability and peace in the region.
