According to a statement from the Pakistan Tanners Association, the total value of these hides is estimated at Rs 6.35 billion. Around 3 million cow, bull, and calf hides, 1,700 buffalo hides, and 3.465 million goat hides are expected to be collected. Around 400,000 sheep and 100,000 camel hides may also be gathered.
