ISLAMABAD: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan gifted a Turkish-made electric car, the T10X model Togg SUV, to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari.
As per the private tv channel report, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif drove the car himself, while the Turkish President sat beside him.
President Asif Ali Zardari also received a car, which was driven by First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari. Erdogan and Aseefa sat in the front seats, while President Zardari was in the back.
Both Shehbaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari thanked the Turkish President for the gift. During his official visit to Pakistan, President Erdogan presented Shehbaz Sharif with a model of Turkey’s electric vehicle, the T10X model Togg SUV.
He took a photo in front of the green SUV and said its color was inspired by the lush Ider Highlands near his hometown in Turkey’s Black Sea region.
