ؒLAHORE: The Punjab Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz, has started implementing the decision to provide free 3-marla plots to needy, poor, and homeless people. In the first phase, 1,892 plots will be given in 33 schemes across 22 districts.
According to a private TV report, the Chief Minister had announced the plan to give free 3-marla plots to the poor and homeless, and the process has now begun.
The report mentioned that, in this phase, plots will be distributed in 22 districts of Punjab. In the Rawalpindi Division, 658 plots will be given in five schemes across four districts. In the Faisalabad Division, 288 plots will be given in four schemes in five districts.
In the Lahore region, 518 plots will be provided in five schemes in three districts. The Bhakkar region will receive 131 plots in seven schemes, while the Multan region will get 270 plots in nine schemes across five districts. The Bahawalpur region will receive 27 plots in three schemes.

Plots will also be given in places like Hazro, Attock, Jhelum, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Chiniot, Mamu Kanjan, Sialkot, Jhang, Pattoki, Okara, Renala Khurd, Bhakkar, Khushab, and Layyah.
The government has included districts such as Vehari, Lodhran, Sahiwal, Chichawatni, Fort Munro, Rajanpur, Bahawalpur, and Bahawalnagar in this free plot scheme.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz emphasized the importance of providing free plots to homeless people and ordered immediate actions.
She mentioned that her dream is for every citizen of Punjab to have their own house and stated that the government resources belong to the deserving and needy people. She added that offering free plots is not a favor, but a duty being fulfilled.
