KARACHI (Islamabad51 Report): Over 30,000 sacrificial animals have been brought from various regions of the nation to Karachi’s largest cattle market, which was set up in 2024 along the Northern Bypass.
According to a Media Report, the arrival of sacrificial animals, such as cows, bulls, and goats, from Punjab, Sindh, KPK, and Balochistan, has begun in preparation for Eid ul Adha 2024.
Report said over 100 camels from Shaheed Benazirabad (Nawab Shah) have reached the Cattle Market in Karachi, bringing various breeds such as Lari, Sindhi, Thari, Sakra, Pahari, and Desi.
Next to the camel section, a dedicated area has been arranged for goats, offering goats from Mirpur Khas and Nawab Shah. Karachi’s Cattle Market receives over 30,000 sacrificial animals.
With Eidul Adha nearing, purchasers from various areas of the city make their way to Karachi’s largest temporary cattle market situated along the Northern Bypass.
Sacrificial animals have started arriving from various cities across the country majorly from Punjab, Sindh, KPK, and Balochistan.
According to the cattle market management, specially equipped sheds have started to be installed in the VIP blocks in the cattle market, where the arrival of high-breed cattle has also started.
A special environment is being provided for the cattle in the VIP blocks while facilities are also being provided for the buyers.
Police personnel and patrolling mobiles have been deployed on the main roads leading to the cattle market along with temporary check posts to provide security to the buyers.
Police have commenced patrols on the routes originating from Gulshan-e-Maymar, Ahsanabad, Surjani, and SITE Super Highway, ensuring round-the-clock security for the residents.
