Islamabad – The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced exciting updates to its electric feeder bus service, aimed at improving public transportation and ensuring greater accessibility across the city and surrounding areas.
Route FR-08A Update: Connecting Urban and Rural Islamabad
The Feeder Route FR-08A has been extended to provide better connectivity, now operating between PIMS (Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences) and Capt. Naeem Tufail Shaheed Chowk. This amended route will serve a mix of urban hubs and suburban neighborhoods, enhancing accessibility for commuters.

Improvements to Feeder Route FR-09
The Feeder Route FR-09 has been revamped to cover a longer distance, now running between Khanna Bridge and Golra Mor. This update replaces the previous Sohan-to-Koh Noor Mills route and ensures enhanced connectivity for commuters traveling along the extended stretch.

The operational feeder bus routes under the CDA include:
- FR-01: NUST to Sohan
- FR-03A: PIMS to F-7 Markaz
- FR-04: PIMS to Bari Imam
- FR-04A: PIMS to Quaid-e-Azam University
- FR-05: Police Foundation to D-12 (Discontinued)
- FR-07: PIMS to Police Foundation Metro
- FR-08A: PIMS to Tramri Chowk
- FR-09: Khanna Pul to Golra Mor
- FR-10: Golra Mor Metro to B-17
These updates aim to improve public transportation in Islamabad by enhancing connectivity and providing more accessible travel options. The electric buses offer an alternative mode of transit that may also help reduce environmental impact.
Extended Route FR-10
The feeder route FR-10 now extends from Golra Mor Metro Station to Wah Cantt Gate No. 1, covering key areas along the way.
