ISLAMABAD : The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced the launch of a new electric bus shuttle service, FR-04B, designed to connect the various embassies within the Diplomatic Enclave Islamabad . The service aims to provide a secure and convenient transportation option for individuals traveling to and from the enclave, which houses many foreign missions.
The shuttle service will operate along a designated route with 20 stops, including major embassies such as those of the United States, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia , UAE , Canada, Germany, and others. The route begins and ends at the Shuttle Service Terminal, ensuring a loop that caters to official visits and other diplomatic activities.

According to CDA officials, the FR-04B shuttle is part of an initiative to promote sustainable and efficient transportation within Islamabad. The electric bus service is expected to reduce traffic congestion in and around the Diplomatic Enclave while offering an eco-friendly alternative for daily commutes.
