ISLAMABAD: Speculations are rife regarding the change of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) logo, for which a clarification statement has been issued by the airline’s spokesperson.
As per the reports, a PIA spokesperson stated that the rumors of changes to its logo and aircraft design are not true.
The spokesperson confirmed that the airline has no plans to change its famous logo or the look of its aircraft.
The PIA spokesperson said that the airline’s logo will remain the same. Any change to the logo or aircraft design requires approval from the airline’s board and government authorities.

Furthermore, the statement confirmed that there has been no change to the tail flag or overall design of PIA aircraft. Pakistani group offers to buy PIA for 125 billion, willing to pay 250 billion in dues.
It should be noted that Air Vice Marshal Amir Hayat has been appointed as the acting CEO of PIA in recent days. Amir Hayat was appointed as CEO following the approval of the Prime Minister, a formal notification for which has been issued.
