ISLAMABAD: A revised price list for Islamabad’s fruits, vegetables, and other essential food items is now available for Sunday, February 16, 2025, reflecting today’s market prices.
The updated list includes common kitchen staples like tomatoes, potatoes, onions, garlic, and ginger.
Consumers will find some relief as prices for tomatoes, cabbage, and cauliflower have decreased significantly compared to last month. Carrots, potatoes, and ginger are also now more affordable.
This daily price list promotes transparency and fair pricing. Residents are advised to consult the official rates before shopping and report any overcharging or discrepancies to the appropriate authorities.
Islamabad’s fruit and vegetable market (Sabzi Mandi) serves as a hub for produce from across Pakistan. Supplies arrive from various cities in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as well as remote areas of Balochistan and Sindh. Seasonal produce from Gilgit-Baltistan and even imports from Iran and Afghanistan are available. The market serves both Islamabad shopkeepers and bulk buyers from surrounding areas.
