LAHORE: The Lahore Zoo will remain closed on Eid ul Fitr 2024 due to ongoing construction work, much to the disappointment of children hoping to visit the zoo during Eid holidays.
However, Safari and Jalu Park will remain open during Eid-ul-Fitr.
DG Wildlife Mudassar Riaz stated that construction work at Lahore Zoo is ongoing, and an extra month is necessary to finish all renovations.
A hologram project is currently underway at Lahore Zoo, he added.
Expect over 100 various species of new animals to join Lahore Zoo and Safari Park. Officials from Lahore Zoo also mentioned the completion of an impressive aquarium at the Safari Park, with plans for a forthcoming night safari experience for visitors.
