The Islamabad Market Committee has issued the official price list for fruits, effective Thursday, February 6, 2025.
While Kinnow, in season since last month, saw a price decrease of over PKR 50 per dozen yesterday (from a range of PKR 352-374 to PKR 294-308 for Grade A), prices have remained stable today. Kinnow is widely available, and while Grade A kinnow is priced between PKR 294 and 308 per dozen, some retailers sell it by weight (kilogram) rather than by the dozen. Smaller and lower-quality kinnows are available at lower prices.
The updated price list indicates that most fruit prices are stable, with only minor fluctuations up or down for a few items. The list includes a range of seasonal fruits such as bananas, oranges, apples, guavas, grapes, and other fresh produce currently in the market.
