PESHAWAR: The caretaker cabinet of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has approved the reconduct of the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) following allegations of massive cheating in the previous exam held on September 10.
During the Caretaker Cabinet meeting of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Secretary of Higher Education, Arshad Khan, provided the cabinet with information regarding the MD CAT exam copying procedure and the arrest of the accused individuals.
In this context, Secretary of Higher Education, Arshad Khan, stated in an interview with Neji TV channel that the MD CAT was thoroughly discussed during the cabinet meeting.
He further elaborated that the caretaker cabinet has granted approval for the test’s re-conduction under the supervision of Khyber Medical University.
Secretary of Higher Education, Arshad Khan, affirmed that the previous MD CAT has been officially canceled.
