RAWALPINDI: During Ramadan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has declared that 8,500 households will receive Rs10,000 each.

Following a meeting with PTI Founder Imran Khan outside Adiala Jail, the newly appointed chief minister asserted that his leader remains committed to justice in the nation.

Gandapur emphasized, “No one has the right to usurp the people’s mandate,” reiterating his belief that Imran Khan would soon be released from jail.

“We aim to establish a system that upholds constitutional integrity and ensures the safety of future generations,” he added.

The CM reiterated his proposal for the Chief Justice of Pakistan to establish a judicial commission to investigate the May 9 violence cases and identify the culprits using CCTV footage.

“We have women incarcerated in jails. Our politics has never revolved around gaining power,” alleged Gandapur, accusing the federal government of stealing the people’s mandate.

Attending the swearing-in ceremony of someone who allegedly stole the mandate, according to the CM, would violate constitutional principles, though he emphasized that he held no personal grudge against anyone.

“I will meet the prime minister for the betterment of the province,” he emphasized, focusing on discussing interprovincial issues rather than mandate theft.

Regarding the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet, he stated that he had consulted PTI Founder Imran Khan. “The entire nation can witness the contrast in economic conditions between our administration and theirs,” he asserted.

The CM then announced Rs10,000 for 8,500 households each during Ramadan.

He also declared protests in Peshawar on Sunday. “I have received votes to safeguard the rights of the province and will go to any lengths to protect them,” he affirmed.

He further expressed that women in every party were like his sisters, noting that he was attending a parliamentary party meeting when a PML-N MPA in KP Assembly was harassed. “By the time I reached the assembly, the incident had already occurred,” Gandapur claimed.

Nevertheless, he apologized to the PML-N lawmaker despite the circumstances.
