LAHORE: The Vets Care Club (VCC), a society of students at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Amanat Dairy Feed aimed at facilitating internship programs and fostering professional development among students.
The MoU was signed by Registrar Sajjad Hyder and Prof Dr Aneela Zameer Durrani representing UVAS, and Chairman Amanat Dairy Feed, Javaid Iqbal, during a ceremony held at City Campus. The event was attended by several administrative officers from UVAS, office-bearers of VCC, and officials from Amanat Dairy Feed.
During the ceremony, Sajjad Hyder expressed optimism about the collaboration, highlighting its potential benefits for both organizations, particularly for students who stand to gain internship opportunities for practical learning and preparation for their future careers.
As per the terms of the MoU, Amanat Dairy Feed will offer training and internship opportunities to students affiliated with VCC at UVAS. In return, UVAS will provide training to farmers identified by Amanat Dairy Feed, aimed at improving their skills and knowledge in agriculture and animal husbandry.
