ISLAMABAD: In a significant milestone for Pakistan’s education sector, the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad, has introduced the country’s inaugural fully automated public services system.
This groundbreaking initiative marks a notable departure from traditional manual processes toward a contemporary, hybrid methodology, setting a new standard for operational efficiency and service availability across all 29 Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education nationwide.
The innovative system offers a range of essential services now accessible online, including the issuance of migration/NOC certificates, result verification, and duplicate Result Cards provision. This transition eliminates the necessity for cumbersome bureaucratic procedures, ensuring applicants experience an impressive turnaround time of just 3 minutes for service delivery, contingent upon fee verification.
Plans are underway to expand the system’s offerings to encompass services like subject change, result cancellation, and corrections in current session particulars, further boosting administrative efficiency and responsiveness to public requests.
A notable aspect of this automated system is its user-friendly design, simplifying the application process. Applicants only need to provide their registration number, examination year, and postal address to receive a direct link for service access via WhatsApp or email. To uphold the highest standards of security and authenticity, issued documents can be verified through a unique tracking ID or verification link provided on the document.
Qaisar Alam, Chairman of FBISE, commended the efforts of the IT team led by Director IT Dr. Bashir Khan Yousafzai, underscoring the board’s dedication to fostering innovation and excellence. He remarked, “The launch of the fully automated public services system is a testament to our commitment to enhancing efficiency, transparency, and accessibility in education administration.”
