Before the commencement of HBL PSL 2024, Quetta Gladiators opted to replace Sarfaraz Ahmed as captain.
As per reports from private media outlets, Rilee Roscoe Rossouw has assumed the role of captain for Quetta Gladiators, succeeding Sarfaraz Ahmed. During a team meeting held in Lahore, the new head coach, Shane Watson, made the announcement of Rossouw’s appointment.
It is notable that Sarfaraz Ahmed led Quetta Gladiators as captain for 8 years, securing victory once.
In a recent interview with “Cricket Pakistan,” team owner Nadeem Umar shared that Shane Watson’s decision is aimed at providing Sarfaraz Ahmed with a break.
