Lahore: The HBL PSL X will start on Friday, 11 April, with defending champions Islamabad United facing two-time winners Lahore Qalandars at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The six-team event will have 34 matches from 11 April to 18 May. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host 13 matches, including two Eliminators and the final.

This year’s tournament will also include an exhibition match on 8 April in Peshawar. The teams for this match will be announced later.

For HBL PSL X, Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches, including Qualifier 1 on 13 May. Karachi’s National Bank Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium will each host five matches. The tournament will have three double-headers: two on Saturdays and one on Labour Day, a national holiday.

Karachi Kings, winners of the fifth edition, will start their journey on 12 April at home against last year’s runners-up, Multan Sultans.

Multan Sultans, champions of the sixth edition, will play Lahore Qalandars on 22 April in the first HBL PSL X match at Multan Cricket Stadium.

The newly built Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will host its first match of the tenth edition on 24 April, with home team Lahore Qalandars, winners of the seventh and eighth editions, taking on Peshawar Zalmi.

Peshawar Zalmi, champions of 2017, will play their five matches at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Quetta Gladiators, winners of the fourth edition, will play five matches at Gaddafi Stadium.

HBL PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer said:
“We are happy to share the schedule for the tenth edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League. Over the past ten years, the HBL PSL has become a well-known tournament, showing Pakistan’s top cricket talent.

“This year, fans will see 34 matches across four cities—Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi—with many international players taking part.

“We are also excited to bring an exhibition match to Peshawar before the tournament starts. This is an important step to bring cricket to a city that loves the game.
