ISLAMABAD: An important meeting was held at the CDA headquarters under the chairmanship of Acting Chairman Talat Mehmood Gondal on the direction of CDA Chairman, Islamabad Chief Commissioner, and DG Civil Defence Muhammad Ali Randhawa. Senior CDA officials including Member Environment, DG Recovery, DG Building Control, DG Planning, DG Resources, Head of Treasury, CEO MCI, Deputy DG Enforcement, and Director DMA attended the meeting.
The CDA Finance Wing gave a detailed briefing on the financial condition of the authority. It was informed that a high-level committee has been formed under the leadership of DG Recovery to ensure the recovery of all outstanding dues. This includes property charges, development charges, water bills, installment payments of auctioned commercial and residential plots, transfer fees, and other charges.
The committee has prepared a comprehensive action plan to collect all dues, and legal measures will be taken to recover them using all available resources. The goal is to use the recovered amount for the development, prosperity, and beautification of Islamabad.
Citizens who have pending dues have been advised to clear their payments by June 30, 2025. If not, CDA will impose heavy fines, cancel plot allotments, and may auction defaulters’ properties according to the law.

CDA has also announced that the names of all defaulters will be published in newspapers, which could damage their reputation. CDA will not be responsible for any such consequences.
To facilitate citizens, the CDA One Window Facilitation Centre will remain open from 9 AM to 9 PM daily until June 30. This will help citizens pay their dues easily and avoid penalties or legal action.
CDA Chairman has clearly instructed that strict legal action will be taken against individuals or institutions that fail to clear their dues. Top CDA officials, including the Chairman and Chief Commissioner, are personally monitoring the recovery process.
