Nasir Iqbal wins Tasmanian Open Championship, secures third title

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s squash player Nasir Iqbal continued his winning streak by winning the Tasmanian Open Squash Championship in Australia, getting his third title recently.

Iqbal won the final against Switzerland’s David Barnett, with a 3-1 victory. The final score was 8-11, 10-12, 11-6, 5-11 in Iqbal’s favor. This win comes after his recent successes at the Bendigo and Shepparton Opens in Australia.

The game marked his third final in four tournaments in Australia. Iqbal showed great skill in the semi-final, where he beat France’s Melvil Ciani-Menko with a clear score of 4-11, 5-11, and 5-11.
