Lahore: The Punjab School Education Department has finalized the summer vacation schedule for school students in 2025.
According to reports from private TV channels, summer holidays will be held in schools from June 1 to August 9, 2025. However, if the heat intensity increases abnormally, the vacations can be given a week earlier.
The reports state that, according to the Secretary of Schools Education, this decision has been taken keeping in mind the health of students, teachers, and parents, as extreme heat can have a negative impact on the educational activities of children.

Last year, the Punjab School Education Department announced the annual summer vacation schedule for the province. According to the announcement, summer vacations for schools across Punjab started on June 1 and ended on August 14.
According to the estimates of meteorologists, this year’s heat wave may be more intense than usual, in view of which the education department has adopted a flexible policy and has the option to change the holidays according to the situation.
