ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Electric Bus Service has started trial runs for two new suburban routes to make travel easier for people. The new routes are FR-12 from Taxila to Hassan Abdal and FR-13 from Golra Metro Station to Fateh Jang. These buses will run from 8 AM to 5 PM, with a bus coming every hour.
Along with these, the service already has many routes connecting different areas. Some of them are from Sohan to NUST Metro Station, PIMS to Faisal Mosque, PIMS to Aiwan-e-Sadr, Bari Imam to Quaid-e-Azam University, PIMS to Golra Sharif E-11, PIMS to NUST Metro Station, PIMS to Tramri through Aabpara or Faizabad, Khanna Pul to Golra Mor, Golra Mor to Taxila, Golra Mor to I-14, Mandi Mor to Bhara Kahu, and Khanna Pul to T-Chowk.

Now, there are also special tourist routes. ST-01 goes from PIMS to Daman-e-Koh, and ST-02 goes from PIMS to Shakarparian. These tourist buses run only on Saturdays and Sundays, from 7 AM to 4 PM.
