ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has started a new electric bus route, FR-14A, for the people of Islamabad.
This new route, FR-14A, will begin at Jilani Terminal, pass through Bazaar Stop, and go up to Satra Meel Stop. The fare is 50 rupees, and the buses will run from 6 AM to 10 PM with a 15-minute gap between each bus.

Earlier, CDA in Islamabad has changed the route of its electric bus service, FR-08C, to make it easier for people to travel. The updated route now goes from PIMS Hospital to Capt. Naeem Tufail Shaheed Chowk, passing through the Faizabad interchange.
The new FR-08C route includes stops at H-8, Kachnar Park I-8, and Faizabad, connecting residential areas, schools, and public places.
The route now covers ITP Driving License Centre, Margalla Town, Garden Avenue, Rawal Town, School Board Stop, Rawal Dam Colony, N.A.R.C Colony, N.I.H Allergy Center, Shahzad Town, Park View City, Green Avenue, Chatta Bakhtawar, Hostel City, COMSATS University, and Tamma Stop, ending at Capt. Naeem Tufail Shaheed Chowk.

CDA officials say this change supports their goal of providing affordable and eco-friendly transportation in the city. The electric bus service will help reduce carbon emissions and offer a better travel option for passengers.
