Quetta: Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti inaugurated the expansion projects of the “Safa Quetta” initiative, stating that Quetta is everyone’s home, and each person must play their role in its cleanliness and beauty. He emphasized continuous cooperation for the city’s cleanliness and development.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of zones 2, 3, and 4 of the “Safa Quetta” project, the Chief Minister said turning dreams into reality brings happiness. He expressed immense joy today, crediting the success to children who, in blue uniforms, contribute to Quetta’s cleanliness despite challenges. He praised their hard work and dedication.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti acknowledged such projects face challenges as some elements resist change, but progressive developments like cleanliness reforms in Quetta are underway. He assured that the government and people together will confront these challenges.
The Chief Minister affirmed all Balochistan ministers and elected representatives of Quetta stand united for the success of the “Safa Quetta” project. He vowed full government support without tolerating any obstacles.

He warned against any blackmailing or pressure tactics, stating strikes are allowed but not at the expense of public interest. He emphasized that the people of Balochistan entrusted him to serve as a common citizen, with no hindrance in this service.
He announced the expansion of the “Safa Quetta” project to cover the entire district, urging the public to participate and support administrative efforts to keep their homes and markets clean. He particularly addressed youth and traders, urging their involvement in making Quetta one of Pakistan’s cleanest cities.
He assured monitoring of the “Safa Quetta” team’s effectiveness and third-party audits. He reviews daily social media reports and public opinions about the city.
He thanked the Metropolitan Union for their services towards Quetta’s cleanliness, promising government support for all merit-based initiatives, whether hiring teachers, doctors, or reforms in the secretariat.
He emphasized that the “Safa Quetta” project is not just about city cleanliness but also awakening a sense of responsibility among citizens. He appealed once again to the public for their full cooperation to transform Quetta into a clean, beautiful city.
