Would you like to go to the cinema on Eid-ul-Adha 2024? Get ready, because on this special occasion, Pakistani cinema is set to release significant films on the big screen for the fans.
Keeping in mind the interest of the audience, films will be screened especially for Lollywood fans on Eid. Eid ul Adha is however bringing some big movies to the screens.
The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced that it sighted the Zilhaj moon and Eild ul Adha will be observed on June 17 in Pakistan.

1. Umro Ayyar:
The first superhero film in the history of Pakistani cinema is being released this Eid. The story of this groundbreaking film revolves around the legendary character Umro Ayyar from the famous Urdu-Persian novel ‘Hamza Nama’.
The trailer showcases the protagonist’s bravery and dangerous adventures, captivating the heart of any superhero movie watcher. After the release of this film, Pakistanis will have their own superhero saga.
In addition to the lead pair, Sanam Saeed and Usman Mukhtar, the film features a talented cast emerging from the Pakistani drama and film industry.
The trailer also highlights stellar performances by prominent actors like Faran Tahir, Ali Kazmi, Adnan Siddiqui, Sami Raheel, Sana Fakhar, Manzar Sehbai, Daniyal Raheel, and Salman Shaukat. 2. Na Baligh Afraad:
For comedy lovers this Eid, well-known director and screenwriter Nabeel Qureshi is set to release his new comedy film ‘Nabagal Aradhan’ following the success of ‘Load Wedding.’ In this film, Nabeel Qureshi takes the audience on a unique journey.
The young actor Samar Jafri, who gave an excellent performance in the drama serial ‘My Ray,’ which deals with the issue of early marriage, is making his cinema debut in this film.
Additionally, the film features Asher Wajahat, Ehtshamuddin, Salim Meraj, Faiza Hasan, Irfan Motiwala, Adi Adeel Amjad, Arzoo Fatima, Ramha Ahmed, and others.
3. Abhi:
The Hum Tv movie ‘Abhi’ will feature Kubra Khan and musician Goher Mumtazin the lead roles. Directed by Asad Mumtaz Malik, the initial teaser of the film was released back in 2022, but after some delay, it is finally hitting theaters this Eid.
After watching the trailer, it is clear that moviegoers will be delighted with the scenes shot in the picturesque northern regions of Pakistan and the natural beauty of Kashmir.

4. Bad Boys:
The highly loved franchise ‘Bad Boys’ movie is coming up with another film this year. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are returning with their signature action and comedy. The film is screening this Eid-ul-Adha 2024.

6. IRaH:
After a long time, an Indian film is also going to be released in Pakistan this Eid. In the movie ‘IRaH,’ Rohit Roy plays the role of Hari Singh, a talented developer of an innovative digital archiving app called ‘IRaH.’
The Sam Bhattacharjee-directed thriller descends into chaos as everyone from the police to hackers tries to control the app, aiming to exploit its capabilities.
The film also stars Karisma Kotak, Amit Channa, and Rajesh Sharma.
