ISLAMABAD: The Central Selection Board (CSB) of the Establishment Division has announced the promotion of senior officers from the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) to higher ranks, BS-20 and BS-21.
According to an official notification, 17 officers have been promoted to BS-21. These include officers from various organizations such as the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Punjab Police, Sindh Police, National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Intelligence Bureau (IB), and National Highway and Motorways Police (NH\&MP).
The promoted officers include Saad Akhtar from NH\&MP, Zaeem Iqbal Sheikh from FIA, Muhammad Tariq Chohan and Khuram Shakoor from Punjab Police, Shahzada Sultan from Punjab Police, Waqar Ahmed Chohan from NAB, Azad Khan (transferred to Balochistan) from IB, retired Flt. Lt. Waseem Ahmed Khan from Punjab Police, Zulfiqar Larik and Sharjil Karim Kharal from Sindh Police, Shakeel Ahmad Durrani from FIA, Iqbal Dara Dayo from Sindh Police, Muhammad Tahir (transferred to KP) and Abbas Ahsan (transferred to KP) from FIA, Syed Khurram Ali from Punjab Police, Humayun Bashir Tarar (transferred to Punjab) from Establishment Division, and Muhammad Jafer from FIA.

Additionally, 33 officers have been promoted to BS-20. Some of them are Muhammad Fawad-ud-Din Riaz Qureshi, Muhammad Ali Nekokara, retired Lt. Imran Shaukat, Faisal Bashir Memon from Sindh Police, Junaid Ahmed, Hassan Asad Alvi, Aetzaz Ahmed Goraya, Asmatullah, Farrukh Ali, Qasim Ali, Sohail Ahmed Sheikh, Agha Tahir Alauddin, Mian Saeed Ahmed, Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera, Umer Riaz, Shiraz Nazeer, Mohammad Haroon Joya, Asad Sarfraz Khan, retired Capt. Mohammad Ali Zia, Najeeb ur Rehman Bugvi, Mohammad Umar Farooq Salamat, Shahabzada Bilal Omer, Amir Abdullah Khan Niazi, Irfanullah Khan, Mustafa Hameed Malik, Wazir Khan Nasir, Barkat Hussain Khosa, Imran Shahid, Mohammad Quraish Khan, Sajjad Khan, Shaukat Ali Khaitan, Shad Ibne Masih, and Syed Mohammad Abbas Rizvi.
