JEDDAH: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have signed an agreement for Hajj 2025. The deal was signed by Pakistan’s Minister for Religious Affairs, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, and Saudi Minister for Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah.
According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, 179,210 Pakistanis are expected to perform Hajj this year. The agreement includes providing better facilities for the pilgrims.
The spokesperson also mentioned that pilgrims will be given special spaces in Mina at reduced rates. The Saudi Minister for Hajj assured that the best services will be provided to Pakistani pilgrims.
To make the journey more comfortable, a shorter program of 20 to 25 days will be introduced. Pilgrims will also have the option to stay in Madinah for 4 to 8 days.
The spokesperson stated that pilgrims will receive special bags containing the Pakistani flag, a QR code, and other important information. A mobile app will also provide details for Hajj pilgrims, including information about their Hajj group, flight schedules, accommodation, payments, and live maps of key Hajj locations.

Chaudhry Salik Hussain, the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, will also attend the ongoing four-day International Hajj Conference in Jeddah, where more agreements will be signed with companies and organizations responsible for providing services to Hajj pilgrims.
