CM Sindh appoints 8 spokespersons, 12 special assistants in cabinet expansion

KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has approved the appointment of 8 new spokespersons and 12 special assistants. A notification has been issued in this regard.

With these new appointments, the total number of spokespersons in the Sindh government has reached 18. The newly appointed spokespersons include Nadir Nabeel Gabol, Sukhdev Sardar Hemnani, Buland Khan Junejo, Samita Afzal, Syeda Tehseen Abidi, Heer Soho, Syeda Aqraba Fatima, and Mustafa Abdullah Baloch.

The number of special assistants has also increased. The 12 new special assistants are Raza Haroon, Pir Syed Afzal Shah, Liaquat Ali Askani, Tanzila Umm Habiba, Ameer Hamza Rais, Khair Muhammad Sheikh, Amanullah Mehsud, Kulsoom Chandio, Muhammad Ali Rashid, Muhammad Ali Bhutto, Hussain Aslam, and Veerji Kolhi. This brings the total number of special assistants to 22, up from 10 previously.

In another decision, the Sindh government has decided to offer Grade 16 teaching jobs to candidates who pass the teaching licensing exam.

According to Sindh Education Minister Sardar Shah, candidates will become part of the government service after clearing the suitability phase conducted by the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC).

He stated that the goal is to provide Grade 16 jobs with legal protection to qualified teachers. The matter will be presented in the next cabinet meeting for approval. The suitability evaluation of teaching license holders will also be referred to the SPSC.
