PAA introduces QR code complaints system for passengers at Islamabad airport

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has introduced a QR code system for complaints at Islamabad International Airport.

According to the PAA, passengers can scan QR codes to register complaints. These QR codes have been installed at various locations throughout the airport.

E-mails and websites will also be available to passengers for complaints and suggestions.

According to the PAA, users can share their complaints and suggestions online at the website https://islamabadairport.com.pk or email directly at feedback.iiap@caapakistan.com.pk.

The Pakistan Airports Authority also stated that complaints can be filed manually in the complaint register available at the counters of the PAA.

Earlier, Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal had directed the Ministry of Aviation to expedite the outsourcing process of airports in Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi.

He gave these directions while presiding over a review meeting with the Public-Private Partnership Authority (P3A) to assess the progress on 13 directives issued by the Prime Minister for the completion of important projects of public interest. Representatives from various ministries presented updates on the status of each project.

The minister directed the Ministry of Aviation to expedite the outsourcing process for airports in Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi.

Joint Secretary of Aviation informed the meeting that the Technical Evaluation Committee of the Pakistan Airports Authority is currently reviewing the bids for Islamabad Airport, while the inspection report for Lahore and Karachi airports has been submitted to the P3A.
