KARACHI: The Sindh government has appointed and transferred deputy commissioners of different districts.
According to a notification issued by the Sindh government, DC East Shahzad Fazal Abbasi, DC Kemari Tahir Cheema, Sindh Solid Waste MD Imtiaz Shah, and the deputy commissioners of Jacobabad, Tando Allahyar, and Malir have been removed from their posts.
As per notification, Local Government Secretary Khalid Haider Shah has been given additional charge as MD Sindh Solid Waste Management, while Secretary Land Utilization Zameer Abbasi and Director Anti-Encroachment Force Tariq Chandio have also been removed from their posts.
Raja Tariq Hussain has been posted as Deputy Commissioner Kemari, Abrar Ahmed Jafar as Deputy Commissioner East Karachi, Saleemullah Odho as Deputy Commissioner Malir, and Noor Mustafa Leghari as Deputy Commissioner Tando Allahyar.

In other news, a seven-day anti-polio campaign will begin in Sindh from December 16. A total of 10.6 million children will be vaccinated across the province.
Chief Secretary Sindh Asif Haider Shah chaired a high-level meeting on the anti-polio campaign, during which preparations for the seven-day campaign starting from December 16 were finalized.
IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon, Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi, Secretary Health Rehan Iqbal Baloch, Additional IG Karachi, representatives of WHO and UNICEF, and Emergency Operation Centre (EOC) Coordinator Irshad Ali Sodhar attended the meeting.
