ISLAMABAD: Action thriller new Pakistani drama DuniyaPur has recently aired on Green TV Entertainment Channel, and its lead actors, Ramsha Khan and Khushhal Khan, have claimed that it is the most expensive drama in Pakistani history.
In a recent interview, actresses Ramsha Khan and Khushhal Khan discussed the drama, stating that the story is fictional and has no connection with reality. All of its characters are also fictional.
Ramsha Khan mentioned that the shooting of DuniyaPur took place in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit, and Azad Kashmir, where the entire cast and crew traveled together. The story revolves around revenge, family, and tribal conflict. She appears to be seeking revenge for the murder of her brothers.
Khushhal Khan said that film technology was used during the shooting, with contributions from the camera crew, action directors, and costume designers, he added that his character stands up against the injustices done to his family, and while he may appear to be doing good deeds, he will also be shown in a negative light at times.
Ramsha Khan claimed that DuniyaPur is not a copy of the popular Hollywood series Game of Thrones, nor has the drama been inspired by any other film.
However, she acknowledged that some scenes might resemble those from other series and films. Similarly, Khushhal Khan stated that while the drama is titled DuniyaPur , it is not a copy of the Indian series Mirzapur.
