LAHORE: A boy in Lahore lost his life after a pistol accidentally fired while he was making a TikTok video.
Police said the boy, named Abdul Rehman, was fatally shot when the pistol accidentally discharged during the video shoot. Police reached the scene immediately after the incident. The 20-year-old TikToker was taken to the hospital with injuries but did not survive.
The body of Abdul Rehman was shifted to the mortuary for post-mortem. However, the family refused any legal action.

Police added that Abdul Rehman was a resident of Mozang and had come to his uncle’s house in Wassan Pura, where the incident occurred.
In a similar incident in May 2024, a young man named Abdullah died in Karachi’s Liaquatabad area while filming a TikTok video at a call center.
His father, Muhammad Ali, said Abdullah had returned home after an exam and went for prayers but did not come back, when the family reached the call center, police informed them that Abdullah had died from a gunshot wound.
