ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railways announced on Wednesday that it will run three special trains for Eid ul Adha 2024.
According to the report, Pakistan Railways will operate two special trains from Karachi and one from Quetta.
According to the schedule, the first Eid special train will depart from Karachi to Peshawar on June 14 at 6:30 PM, with all coaches being economy class.
The second special train will depart from Karachi to Lahore at 9:30 pm on June 15. This train will have 2 business, 2 standard class and other all economy class coaches.
The third train will depart from Quetta to Lahore and Rawalpindi on June 15 at 10 AM.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department predicted that Eid ul Adha will likely fall in Pakistan on June 17 (Monday).
According to the Climate Data Processing Centre, Zilhajj moon is most likely to be sighted on June 7 (Friday) and Eid ul Azha will be celebrated on June 17 (Monday).
According to the processing centre, the moon will rise at 5:38 PM on June 6, while the sunset is likely to be at 7:20 PM.
The moon is likely to be visible for 72 minutes after sunset. The Eid ul Adha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, is one of two Eid festivals celebrated by Muslims to honor Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son to God.
