ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted that Eid ul Adha in Pakistan will fall on Monday, June 17, 2024.
According to a media report, the Climate Data Processing Center said the moon of Dhul-Hijjah 1445 Hijri is likely to be sighted on Friday, June 7, making Tuesday, June 8 the 1st of Dhul-Hijjah and Eid-ul-Adha falling on Monday, June 17.
The Climate Data Processing Centre has predicted that the moon will rise at 5:38 pm on June 6, while sunset is expected to occur at 7:20 pm. The moon will be visible for 72 minutes after sunset.
“The moon must be 19 hours old to be visible,” Climate Data Processing Center officials said. To determine the sighting of the moon of Dhul al-Hijjah 1445 Hijri, the central Royat Hilal Committee will meet on June 7, 29th Ziqad, and make the final announcement.
