KARACHI: Sindh Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon inaugurated the Orange Line bus shuttle service in Karachi.
According to media reports, passengers traveling from the Orange Line will now be able to be brought to the Board Office stop of the Green Line.
Sharjeel Memon visited the route by taking a bus from Orangi Town. Apart from this, Sharjeel Memon also inaugurated the Orange Line Extension.
Speaking to the media on this occasion, Sharjeel Memon said that the Sindh government has decided to integrate the Orange Line project. The Orange and Green Line corridors will be merged, and it will take three to four months.
Sharjeel Memon says that efforts are being made to improve the transport sector. New buses have also arrived, and more routes will also be started.
He said that the Orange Line BRT is named after Abdul Sattar Edhi. The reduction in the prices of petroleum products is welcome. Even when the rates of petrol and diesel were increased, the bus fares were not allowed to increase. The automatic fare system card will start working within a month.
The provincial minister says that street crimes have reduced in Karachi. The whole country will not see anti-narcotics operations like what is happening here. The name of drugs will be erased in the province.
