RAWALPINDI: The District Registering Authority (DRA) Rawalpindi has directed all private schools in the district to strictly follow the Punjab government’s official notification about summer vacations. The notice was issued by the Chief Executive Officer (DEA) and Secretary DRA Rawalpindi.
According to the instructions, all public and private schools will remain closed for summer vacations from 28th May to 14th August 2025. No examinations will be allowed after 28th May, and schools are strictly forbidden from organizing any kind of summer camps during the vacation period.
The notification also clearly states that teachers will also be on holidays. Schools are not allowed to call teaching staff for any reason during the summer break. Only administrative staff is allowed to come to school, and that too only for official tasks.

The DRA has also taken notice of fee collection issues. All private schools have been warned not to collect advance fees for three months. Only monthly fee collection is permitted as per the policy of the School Education Department.

The schools have been informed that they must reopen on Friday, 15th August 2025. Any school that fails to follow these orders will face disciplinary action. This includes possible action by the authorities against the school administration.
