ISLAMABAD: Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has announced a significant price reduction for its Swift model, with cuts ranging from Rs. 85,000 to Rs. 710,000.
According to Pak Suzuki, keeping in view the current market conditions, we are pleased to announce the promotional retail sales prices of the Suzuki Swift WEF.
The new prices are effective from May 1, 2024, and are applicable to all three variants of the Swift: GL MT, GL CVT, and GLX CVT.
The biggest price reduction is for the GLX CVT variant, which now costs Rs. 4,719,000, down from Rs. 5,429,000. This represents a decrease of Rs. 710,000.
The GL MT variant now costs Rs. 4,336,000, down from Rs. 4,421,000, while the GL CVT variant is priced at Rs. 4,560,000, down from Rs. 4,719,000.
The revised prices are inclusive of Federal Excise Duty (FED) and Sales Tax but exclude Advance Income Tax. Pak Suzuki has stated that the price reduction is a limited-time offer and may be subject to change at any time.
The company’s decision to reduce prices is likely to be welcomed by consumers, as it comes at a time when inflation and fuel prices are on the rise. The move could also help to boost sales of the Swift, which has been facing stiff competition from other hatchback models in the Pakistani market.
