RAWALPINDI: Eleven terrorists were neutralized in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), according to a report from the military media Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) wing on Monday.
According to the ISPR , an intelligence-based operation was conducted in the Dera Ismail (DI) Khan District following reports of terrorist presence. During the operation, after an intense exchange of fire, ten terrorists were successfully neutralized.
In another encounter in North Waziristan District, our troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, resulting in the elimination of one more terrorist.
The terrorists who were killed had been actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area against security forces as well as innocent civilians. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from them.
The locals of the area appreciated the operations conducted by the Security Forces, who remain determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country.
