Sidhwani revealed that the film is currently in the script stage, although no further specifics about the movie have been disclosed yet.
Reports indicate that the renowned filmmaker Farhan Akhtar will direct the film, with Shah Rukh Khan reprising his role as the lead character.

He further added that the script is currently in its final stages of development.
It is worth noting that Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment had obtained the rights to remake Amitabh Bachchan’s film Don.
The first film in the Don series was a remake of the 1978 film of the same name, released in 2006, while the second film, Don 2, was released in 2011.
In both of these films, Shah Rukh Khan showcased his acting prowess as Don.
Additionally, it is noteworthy that the 2011 film Don 2 also featured the talented Pakistani actor Ali Khan in a prominent role.
