Renowned actor Usman Mukhtar’s resurfaced interview discussing his enduring dedication to his mother has captivated social media users once again, coinciding with the celebration of ‘Mother’s Day.’
In the video clip from a previous interview, Mukhtar sheds light on his deliberate choice to limit his time away from home to shoot projects.
During the interview, the actor was posed with a question regarding the tendency of actors from Islamabad and Lahore to relocate to Karachi, whereas he primarily visits for project-related commitments. The query explored the potential negative impact of his approach on his career.
Responding to the host’s inquiry, Mukhtar acknowledged that his career does experience some consequences due to his deliberate choices. However, he emphasized that his mother’s well-being takes precedence in his life. Being fully aware of his mother’s illness, he expressed his inability to leave her alone in Islamabad.
“Therefore, I rarely opt for projects that necessitate extended periods away from home,” he shared.
Furthermore, the actor mentioned that whenever he is required to be away for a project, he ensures that his sisters, cousins, or nieces accompany and support his mother in his absence. Mukhtar emphasized that it is not feasible to relocate his mother to Karachi due to her dementia.
Abruptly uprooting her from a familiar environment and introducing her to an entirely different one would adversely affect her health.
