RAWALPINDI : PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan confirmed his meeting with Army Chief General Asim Munir. He stated that during the meeting, he presented all PTI matters and demands to the head of the Pakistan Army.
Speaking informally to the media outside Adiala Jail, Barrister Gohar Khan said that he and Ali Amin Gandapur had met the Army Chief in Peshawar. He described the meeting as a positive one.
Barrister Gohar mentioned that all PTI issues and demands were presented to the Army Chief, and he hopes the situation will improve. He said he has always believed that things should get better through dialogue.
He also shared that they talked about national stability during the meeting, and received a positive response from the Army Chief.
Earlier, PTI founder Imran Khan also confirmed the meeting between Barrister Gohar and the Army Chief. While speaking to the media in Adiala Jail, Imran Khan first seemed uncertain but later confirmed the meeting. He said any talks with the Army Chief are a good sign and beneficial for Pakistan.

Imran Khan emphasized that PTI had always wanted dialogue for the stability of Pakistan. He added that the establishment should engage in talks with them. He also clarified that he has never opposed negotiations, but talks had been blocked until now.
