Omar Ayub stated that he decided to resign from the Judicial Commission due to the cases registered against him.

According to Omar Ayub, the current legal challenges are an obstacle to effective performance in the Judicial Commission. “It is in the interest of the institution that I nominate someone else in my place who can devote all their attention to this important role,” he said.
