ISLAMABAD: The Motorway Police has launched an e-ticketing app for the convenience of passengers, which will generate digital tickets.
According to a Motorway Police spokesman, points will be deducted for any mistake or violation, after which the license will be suspended upon reaching the specified limit.
A Motorway Police spokesman said that all information will be auto-filled, and stolen vehicles will be easily detected.
Addressing the 28th Foundation Day of the National Highways and Motorways Police, IG Motorways Salman Chaudhry said that the journey of 366 kilometers started in 1997, and today motorways span 4,500 kilometers.

IG Motorways said, “We have radars, speed guns, and ambulances. We faced challenges with axle load management, but we have implemented 95 percent of the axle load policy since last year.”
Salman Chaudhry added, “I salute our youth. One of our sub-inspectors was martyred while on duty. We are moving towards a cashless policy soon, and 97 percent of our operations have already become paperless.”
