LAHORE: The English compulsory subject examination took place in all nine education boards throughout Punjab as part of the ongoing Secondary School Certificate (Matric) First Annual Examination 2024 on Monday.
Approximately 11 instances of candidates resorting to unfair practices were reported, while five individuals were apprehended for impersonation during the exams.
Dr. Ansar Azhar, Chairman of the Lahore Board, conducted a visit to the examination center at ND Islamia High School, Ichhra, where an individual was found attempting the exam on behalf of someone else and was apprehended in the act.
The culprit was subsequently handed over to the police. Across Punjab, a total of 4,088 examination centers have been established.
