LAHORE: The Punjab government is changing school hours in some parts of Lahore because of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 matches at Gaddafi Stadium.
The provincial government released a notice saying the new school timings will apply to schools near Gaddafi Stadium.
The notice listed the areas affected, including Gulberg, Model Town, Ichhra, Jail Road, Ferozepur Road, Shadman, Canal Road, Upper Mall, and Zahoor Elahi Road.

During the PSL matches, schools in these areas will run from 7am to 12pm. This change will help students and staff during the cricket games.
The PSL matches in Lahore will happen on different days between April 24 and May 18. All matches in Lahore will start at 7pm and be played day and night.
At the same time, practice matches for the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifiers began today in the Walled City. The final match of the Women’s World Cup Qualifiers in Lahore is set for April 19.
The PSL X will start on April 11 with a game between the current champions, Islamabad United, and Lahore Qalandars. The last match of the tournament will be at Gaddafi Stadium on May 18. There will be 34 matches over 37 days.

This year, the six-team PSL will take place in four cities: Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi. Most of the matches will be in Lahore. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) began selling tickets online for PSL X on Thursday.
Fans can also buy physical tickets starting Monday, April 7, at 4pm. These will be available at specific centers set up at a local courier company across the country. To make things more fun for fans, the PCB added a new ticket raffle feature.
