RAWALPINDI: The Punjab Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has received an international certification. A UK-based accredited body awarded the ISO 9001 certificate to EPA Punjab for its good performance. This makes EPA Punjab the first agency in Pakistan to earn this recognition.
The certification aims to confirm transparency, improvement, and timely decisions in the agency’s efforts to protect the environment.
Over the past year, under the leadership of Punjab’s Chief Minister, steps taken to protect and improve the environment have met global standards. The UK body recognized efforts like tree planting, reducing air and water pollution, and other environmental policies.
