ISLAMABAD: The governments of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) have announced that they will give advance salaries to their employees for Eid-ul-Fitr 2025.
According to a report, the Punjab Finance Department has said that government employees will get their salaries early for Eid-ul-Fitr, and a notification has been issued for this.
The notification states that government employees in Punjab will receive their salaries on March 26.
The Punjab Finance Secretary has officially sent the notification for early salary payments to the relevant departments.

On the other hand, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to pay March salaries to government employees early because of Eid-ul-Fitr.

In a statement from the KP government, it was said that all Muslim government employees will get their March salaries on March 20 instead of April 1.
It was also mentioned that retired government employees will receive their pensions on March 20.

Earlier, the Sindh government had issued a notification to give advance salaries to all government employees in the province. According to the Sindh government’s notification, government employees in Sindh will be paid their advance salaries on March 21.
On the other hand, the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Human Resources has announced Eid-ul-Fitr holidays for private and non-profit organizations.
Reports say that the holy month of Ramadan is ongoing worldwide, with one-third already completed. Like other countries, Muslims in Saudi Arabia are observing fasts and preparing for the Eid festival, a gift from Allah.
Eid in Saudi Arabia is likely to fall on March 30 or 31, depending on the moon sighting. However, the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources has confirmed the Eid-ul-Fitr holiday schedule for private and non-profit organizations in the kingdom.
According to media reports, the ministry has announced a four-day holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr. These holidays will be from Sunday, March 30, to Wednesday, April 2.
