ISLAMABAD: Summer 2024 vacations have been announced in the educational institutions of Islamabad due to the increased heat intensity.
According to the notification issued by the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) on June 7, 2024, summer vacation in all federal educational institutions under the FDE will start on June 10 and end on July 31, 2024. Schools and colleges will reopen on August 1, 2024.
It should be remembered that after Punjab and Sindh, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan have also announced summer vacations.
The Balochistan Education Department has announced holidays in hot areas. According to the notification, educational institutions in the hot areas of the province will be closed from June 1 to August 13. Academic activities will resume on August 14.
The Higher Education Department in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also announced the summer vacations. According to the notification issued in this regard, all public and private universities and colleges will remain closed from June 15 to August 3, 2024.
